While most view Project Management as entailing only those activities occurring during systems implementation, ATG has a larger definition. Effective oversight of each project must be afforded from start to finish ensuring completion in accordance with technical, logistical, strategic and budgetary requirements. The major benefits of project management are as follows:

Coordination of the project team and enhancement of communication.
Establishment and adherence to project priorities.
Single point of contact for the customer
Project monitoring for maximum design and implementation performance.
Minimization of project duration and expenses.

For the ATG customer, project management entails several tasks and strategies, dependent on the project scope and phase. The project is defined; this may require establishing
objectives, tasks, milestones, duration, resources and other factors. Breaking down each task and assigning responsibilities becomes crucial to ensuring all aspects of a project are
accounted for and can be effectively managed. In addition, the management of internal and external activities and resources (including monitoring and documentation as necessary) is
required.

Within ATG, the role of project management is based on a “checks and balance” philosophy. Upon selection of the project team, each member is provided with project objectives and a
clear scope of work. A Kick-Off meeting between the project management team and the customer establishes communication channels and resources, sets a working schedule for the
specific project tasks, and allows for review of any special project team policies and procedures.

During the course of the project, a figurative “triangle” consisting of the Project Manager, the Executive Management, and the Customer exists to ensure the project team is
communicating effectively and performing efficiently. The project manager is also responsible for monitoring the efforts of the team and ensuring that objectives are maintained. As
applicable, on-site management is also provided to ensure that all technical aspects of the project are adhered to, and that the project, both from a management standpoint and from an
implementation perspective, is completed on time and within budget.

The goal of ATG’s attention to effective project management is to enable our customer to receive the forward-thinking technology solutions they desire without the expense and delays
caused by unnecessary changes during and after system implementation. In order to attain this goal, the ATG Project Management team works from a strong, unbiased position to:

Serve as the Customers’ advocate.
Search for possible project impediments before they can materialize.
Integrate all project operations towards a single project goal.

Why Our Project Management Team?

ATG’s primary business focus is to provide a strong, single-source solution to meet the full spectrum of technology needs for each customer. We integrate ourselves within the customer’s environment to become an extension of the customer’s own project team, serving the best interests of our customer as a single point of contact. By understanding your business and needs, we endeavor to build trusting relationships. With the breadth of design and implementation expertise, as well as our partnerships with a full range of electrical and technology services, our project management skills allow you to concentrate on your core business.

The goal at ATG is to provide you with a successful installation. This project is a blend of multiple, services, disciplines and resources – an experienced and highly skilled installation team, a refined management team and the efficient integration with other trades and your customers.

The ability for all departments, trades and personnel working on critical tasks without adverse effect is the most critical aspect of project management during the installation of the
Structured Cabling System. Our ability to manage “large scale” commercial/industrial projects and projects subject to “aggressive” completion dates is where ATG has a strong reputation.

Our project management team’s principle objective is to provide a focal point for the communication between our field service team, our internal management, you and your
customers, including other trades working on the project. Our team’s responsibilities include: field engineering, physical installations, testing and certification, performance and operational
documentation. There are three basic functions of our management team these include:

Engineering support
Proposal generations
Project planning and implementation

A complete understanding of the needs and expectations is an important prerequisite to satisfying them. Our management team works closely with you in order to define the objectives, goals and to ensure that the most effective solution is implemented. The objectives are based upon the specifications and needs as presented RFQ.

Our responsibility includes the review of all information obtained during our pre-engineering phase. Our management team will conduct all necessary reviews and prepare drawings based
on the specification, and actual field conditions as specified. With this information, ATG will develop an installation set of drawing to execute the specified work.
